Ever feel cloudy about the cloud? With so many different types of cloud solutions and acronyms to digest – you may feel a bit of cloud overload in deciding what solutions are best for your firm. Regardless of if you are evaluating a client portal, hosted solution, shared data files, or a revamp to your entire infrastructure – everywhere you look, we are encouraged to "take it to the cloud."
In this session, we will evaluate the different types of clouds, what the pros and cons are of each and look at the foundation of robust desktop apps to see why accountants have such a hard time giving them up for their SaaS alternative. We will cover questions to ask, and telling phrases in service agreements that will help you eliminate the fog and choose the right cloud solution for your needs.
